![]() KICK have added a rubber bottom to their leg levelers which prevent any extra movement from the 140 pound table. The benefit of this is that your players do not automatically block the ball, making it easier to score.ĭuring intense play the table remains stationary. This is when the players can remain at a horizontal level when released in that position. This table includes Counterbalanced foosball players out of the box. This makes it super smooth, quick and free of dead spots. It’s well constructed using MDF material and includes a ½ inch thick laminate playing field. The gameplay on the KICK is a large step up from the entry level foosball tables. It’s the kind of table that would suit almost any game room. The KICK is well designed table and something that the company prides themselves on. In this category, we recommend the KICK Legend foosball table. We would recommend this category for players that are of intermediate or advanced skill level. The all rounder category is our best overall table for the money. Hard plastic balls don’t play well (recommend upgrading).Built to withstand many hours of playing time.1 or 3 goalie configuration (Player Preference).(Ping pong takes up a ton of room because you need so much room beyond the table dimensions). It is interesting that you should mention bubble hockey.Looking at the space, I think either that or foosball would fit in the area. And, most importantly, my wife has held the GC score on MMR for awhile now so I need something to get my revenge Two inexperienced players can have a lot of fun playing air hockey. Yes, I recognize that there is a lot of skill and 'world class' players, but any Joe can play any other Joe and have a fun time without getting frustrated. It's why we like our shuffeboard table and it is such a hit with our friends. ![]() And inexperienced players tend to get frustrated chasing the ball when they play against each other. Second, my wife and I used to play a lot (when we got married many decades ago, the first piece of furniture we bought for our living room was a ping pong table) and were pretty decent, so it's difficult to play with inexperienced players. First, I've been pretty active over the years and have paid the price (torn rotator cuff, knees scoped, ruptured tendons, broken bones, etc.) so I can't play that long. Well it's not that ping pong has lost its appeal however, we have two problems with ping pong. Will lose it's appeal just like ping pong and takes up a lot of space To summarize.thoughts on Game Room Guys, thoughts on other dealers, thoughts on specific models and features are all appreciated Anyhow, there seem to be a number of models with very little differences so any advice on specific models and mfgs as well as features would be greatly appreciated. We don't want all the laser lights and sounds although overhead scoring would be nice and black light might be fun to have. It's hard to tell if either one is better than the other. ![]() It appears that Gold Standard/Shelti and Valley Dynamo build the best tables. ![]() The final question is any recommendations for specific tables. Second part is thoughts and advice regarding other dealers you would recommend. Since Game Room Guys sells a variety of machines including pinball, I thought some on here might have had dealings with them. I would prefer to support someone in the business if possible. Game Room Guys seem to be one of the larger arcade/game-focused dealers (as opposed to Amazon, Walmart, etc.). I recognize depreciation is a bear, but finding a good table locally seems unlikely, so we are looking at buying a new table. We have a ping pong table in our gameroom that gets no play, so we have decided to replace it with an air hockey table. I have no idea where I should post this so, if I'll rely on the mods to move if appropriate.
